My Brother’s Bird

My Brother's Budgie "Ciccio" © Vincenzo Aiosa

My brother Michele found this bird about a year ago wandering and very sick. He nursed it back to health and he’s been living in the auto repair shop he owns in Torino. Italy

I found a cockatiel, many years ago in a tree in the middle of winter, many years ago. They are so sweet.

    ICLW…

I rescued a parakeet, Orestia, from a hurricane. She was blown into the backyard and was part of our family for quite a while.

I was devastated when she passed away, for she was my child, when I was barren, with cancer (renal cell) and was really trapped at home, as well as, having very little hope of becoming a mother, never mind trying to stay alive.

Blessings to you in the new year. Love your photos.
